Thank you for your interest in the International Society for Laboratory Hematology (ISLH). Our society is the largest organization devoted to clinical laboratory hematology and we are truly international, with members in over 70 countries worldwide.

One of the major activities of our society is an annual conference held in May. Our meeting brings together 700-1,200 scientists, physicians, and technologists specializing in many areas of laboratory hematology (e.g., hematopathology, hemostasis, red cell/hemoglobin disorders) and focuses on technological and scientific advances in these fields, with an emphasis on issues relevant to diagnostic laboratories. Our members are interested in acquiring information about new discoveries, as well as updating their knowledge on the pathophysiology and treatment principles, from the perspective of diagnosing hematologic disorders. 

Our scientific conference includes a full day educational workshop, preceding a three day meeting that includes plenary, simultaneous scientific sessions and both oral and poster abstract sessions.
