Welcome to ISLH 2009!
Swine Flu Update: 4/30/2009
The ISLH 2009 meeting will take place as scheduled in Las Vegas, May 11-14.
The ISLH Board and Executive Committee wishes to advise all ISLH 2009 attendees that we are closely monitoring the Swine Flu outbreak. We plan to follow the recommendations of the United States Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Currently there are no recommendations from either the World Health Organization or the Center for Disease Control to control borders or restrict international travel. There have been no cases of Swine Flu reported in Las Vegas.
Attendees will be encouraged to take extra precautions while at ISLH including frequent hand washing to prevent the spread of germs. Hand sanitizers will be available in all meeting rooms and restrooms.
Check the Center for Disease Control <> and World Health Organization <> periodically for updates.
We will keep everyone posted of any further updates or changes in directives from the CDC and WHO as they are posted.
